What is Floating Rails Mod 1.10.2, 1.10, 1.9.4, 1.9, 1.8.9, 1.8, 1.7.10
Rails is an important units that contribute to the transportation means in the world of Minecraft. It is particularly useful in land transportation and trains are definitely one of the most convenient and fastest means of transportation in the game. However, despite of the convenience trains and rails brings to the players, to set up a rails takes quite lots of time and energy, especially in water. If we want to build a rails system in water, initally we need to fill blocks and rocks to the place where the rails will be set. Then we place the rails on the surface of those blocks to shape a railways. This might annoy some players as they have to spend an amount of time to construct railways on water. To solve this problem, Floating Rails Mod was created to revolutionalise the way to build railways on water. Now we do not need blocks any more, no need of rocks to fill on the water, just put the rails where it should be.
In fact, that is this mod is about. With Floating Rails you have the ability to place the rails directly on top of the water. It is supported by a lilypad to keep the rail floating.
This is before Floating Rails Mod, we need to set a range of rock blocks on the water then put the rails on the surface of the blocks.
And now with Floating Rails Mod, no more blocks needed
But it is not all. There are lava-lilies that spawns around on top of lava lakes both in the overworld and nether.
The crafting is a bit special. Either you want to or are limited by resources you can always chose between to craft everything between 1 ? 8 floating rails and end up using the same amount of lilypads. I know lilypads are a pain in the as to find and I did not want to make it too craft these rails. So here is the deal. Place 1 lilypad anywhere in the crafting grid and then put in as many rails you want to turn into floating rails.
